"With no intermediate steps"
LACRILON, is slowly released from the moment it is injected,
having positive (+) tropism towards the fibrocartilagenous
tissue, it lies selectively on the joint cartilage, where
significant concentration (2-7 ug/g of tissue) will be spotted
from the first day to 4 - 8 days after injection, contributing
to the Matrix glycosaminoglycan pool and directly exerting
its pharmacological therapeutic action. |
LACRILON reaches the cartilage Directly
and Stimulates Biosynthesis; it induces of the
condrocite to matrix formation and favours the formation of
higher molecular weight Proteoglycan compounds(more efficients) restoring the damaged cartilage.

HISTOLOGICAL
VIEW OF THE ARTICULAR CARTILAGE TINTION O-SAFRANINA (X250)
1)Osteoarthritic cartilage not treated; erosion, cellular
"nets" and tintion loss can be observed.
2)Osteoarthritic cartilage, after treatment with Sulphated
Glycosaminoglycans; evident recovery of the structure can be
observed, as well as tintion preservation with
O-Safranine.
